Chip DeWitt

Interim Pastor

Charles B (Chip) DeWitt is currently serving as an interim pastor with the Alliance Southeast
district of the C&MA. Prior to this, he was VP for Development for two Christian non-profits, and
a major gifts officer for the Research Foundation of the American Diabetes Association. Prior to
serving as regional consultant for Orchard Alliance, Rev. DeWitt was pastor at Mendham Hills
Chapel in Mendham, NJ, the Director of Extension for the C&MA in the Western Pennsylvania,
and the Director of Extension and Church Growth in the Great Lakes District. Chip was also
pastor of First Alliance Church, Raleigh, North Carolina. He earned a B.S. in Psychology at Penn
State, a Juris Doctor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and a Master of Divinity at
Asbury Theological Seminary. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and Kentucky. He
and his wife, Margaret (Margy), have three grown sons and five grandchildren.
