In Nehemiah 3-4, the people of israel begin to rebuild the wall in Jerusalem. As they began to build they faced all sorts of adversity, but they were able to overcome this through working together. It took all of the people to rebuild the city. When it comes to rebuilding our lives, community and country requires all of us to participate in owning the situation.

Looking at the end of Nehemiah chapter 2, Brian shows us that when evil and sickness happen we often want to know why these things happen. These things always happen by the will of God, but they do not always correlate to punishment and sin. We have sickness in our community, and the scriptures show that these things happen for God to be glorified in what ever circumstances happen.
